At Addo Play we are proud of who we are and what we do, and we set high standards based on our core values of fairness, integrity, respect, support and trust.
We work hard to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to labour, worker health and safety, protection of the environment, corruption and consumer safety. We expect our vendors to abide by the same standards and our Code of Ethics.
Ethical sourcing
At Addo Play, we are committed to ethical sourcing and upholding fundamental human rights across our supply chain.
Our Code of Ethics and Global Sourcing Standards set clear expectations for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, covering labour practices, worker health and safety, environmental protection, anti-corruption measures, and consumer safety.
Green Facilities
We continuously assess and minimise the environmental impact of our offices by managing relating to GNFR (goods not for resale), waste, and water usage.
We also optimise our energy consumption – such as lighting and heating – carefully consider domestic and international travel to reduce fuel use and emissions.
Environmental Impact
At Addo Play, we are developing a structured framework to assess the environmental impact of our products, enabling us to analyse and improve both our processes and finished products.
We remain committed to reducing the environmental footprint of our operations and are working towards a plan to progressively lower carbon emissions across our supply chain.
To support this, we conduct ESG materiality assessments, helping to identify potential environmental, social, and governance risks that could impact operations, reputation, and financial performance. By recognising these risks early, we can implement strategies to mitigate them effectively and drive positive change within our industry.
COMMITMENT POLICIES
Our commitments to sustainability and responsible business operations are reflected in the following policies & guidance documents.
We expect the same high standards from our vendors, who must renew ethical audits annually. To promote transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement, all vendors are required to be members of the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (SEDEX) and complete regular self-assessments. We follow industry best practices for due diligence, ensuring supply chain transparency and compliance with the Modern Slavery Act. As part of this commitment, all manufacturing sites undergo independent social compliance audits.
Beyond our supply chain, we uphold responsible business practices within our own workforce and maintain a strong ethical culture through our colleague Code of Conduct and by providing ongoing ethics and compliance training for all team members.
