The overall risk is considered low, but because asbestos should not be present in any amount, Addo Play Ltd is issuing a recall notice for these products.

These products were sold through The Entertainer, Tesco, Hobbycraft, M&S, Moonpig and British Garden Centres stores and websites between September 2024 and February 2026.

We are advising customers to stop using these products immediately and keep them out of the reach of children. Follow the instructions below for details on the disposal of these products and obtaining a refund.

What you need to do:

• Check the item code – 320-14142-N or 320-14145-N – on the product label or packaging close to the barcode.
• If it is the product detailed above, stop using it immediately.
• If the sand is still in its packaging, place it in a heavy-duty plastic bag and double-tape it securely.
• If the sand has been used, clean up the sites where the product was used with wet cloths to avoid generating dust. Wear gloves and a mask. Double-bag the sand in a heavy-duty plastic bag, double-tape it securely, along with the gloves, mask and cloths.
• Keep people away from areas where the sand has been used until the area has been cleaned.
• Dispose of the product in your general household waste.
• Contact the retailer you purchased the item from for a full refund.

Voluntary Recall Notice for U.S. Consumers

In co-operation with the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission, Addo Play is announcing a voluntary recall regarding the ELC Little Senses Lights & Sounds Shape Sorter (Item Code 82756)

• Hazard: The red cube can come apart or detach during use and release the small white ball inside the cube, posing a choking hazard. No other components are affected.
• Remedy: Consumers should immediately take the shape sorter away from children, stop using the red cube, discard the cube, and contact Just Play for a free replacement cube. The shape sorter toy and the other components can be used safely without the red cube.

• Product Details: This safety notice involves the Early Learning Centre Little Senses Lights and Sounds Shape Sorter toy. The toy has a white and gray base, holds six colored, shaped pieces with lights, and makes sounds and music. “Little Senses” is printed on the side of the base. The toy was marketed for children from 6 to 36 months of age. The item code for the sorter toy – 82756 – is located on the base of the unit. The batch code on the product is located on the base of the main unit, and corresponds to dates of manufacture as follows:
